Crone Series (2018-Present)

This is an ongoing woodcut and print series addressing crone myths.  Crone being the third aspect of the Woman, (Maiden, Mother, Crone) and often times depicted in deprecating ways as a reflection on how Western society sees older, wiser, beyond child rearing stage of life for women.  I'd like to reinvent the characaters in a manner that dismisses the negative and actually reflects an attitude of irreverance and independence towards the patriarchial ......
